by the way, I heard the interview and thought you and denise were both great and could have been even more stimulated if the interviewer hadn't been that half-baked potato. sheila rogers would have been much better because she's a woman and had been a young woman in the 70s. she would have given it some perspective and created more of a discussion. probably if benmurgie, or whatever his name is, could have just let you and denise discuss issues instead of answer his pat predictable questions. but bravo. and congrats for being an editor. that rocks.
sometimes i sense a patronization on the part of the media when something has a day designated to it...rather than honour it and discuss it all through the year...you know what I mean? and I found the excerpts from the 70s amazing. that men would actually freak that their nice women wouldn't be there to look after their needs first in the home..yikes.
